Answer : AGMUT is a cadre which is used to give the preference while filling the cadre choice in UPSC Civil Service examination.

Andaman is excluded because this UT is covered under DANICS Cadre which is Delhi and Andaman Nicobar Civil Services.

Fix - Can't Install Windows 8.1/10 - Error Says - GPT Partition Style

Question : While Installing the Windows 8.1 /10 on a Computer. Certain errors are coming. One of which says " Windows Cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT Partition Style. How to resolve this problem while installing the OS to a PC.

Answer : This error comes while you had tried to install the windows on partition which is of GPT style. This is a new partition style. Earlier we used to have MBR partition style. This time windows are using GPT style.

You need to change the GPT style to MBR style. To do so, you have to follow certain steps.

First of all, just exit from this screen and get back to the main page of installation.

Now press : Shift + F12 to open the Command Prompt.

Now, type 'Diskpart' then, type 'list disk'. Now you will be shown all the drives attached to the pc along with its GPT status. If it is GPT there will be * mark in front of it.

I would recommend you to backup all the files and data before doing GPT style conversion to MBR.

once you done, now type "select disk [disk no.]  for example : select disk 0

now, the disk having GPT partition style is selected.

then, you have to type "Clean" and hit Enter.

Within few seconds, Disk will be cleaned and changed to MBR partition style.

Now, you can start the installation process, you will not be restricted to install the window.

My First Car - Should I Buy Renault Kwid or Maruti Suzuki Celerio / Wagon R

Question : My height is 6 feet and i am looking out to buy a new car. Most of the times i would be driving in city traffic only. Very rarely i would go on highways.

I have heard lots about the Celerio AGS (AMT) so would it be comfortable for me in a Celerio or the Kwid would be better choice?

I had Wagon R in my mind before the launch of Celerio however now i am in dilemma whether to go for AGS comfort or the tall boy Wagon R.

Answer : Celerio would be a better choice in city condition. there is not much difference in the engine both 1000cc just celerio has littile better tuned engine than WagonR for more mileage.

interms of Interiors both are good but celerio gets little decent look for its dashboard and maybe litttle bit more features in the top model.

the main part is comfort of driving and travelling,I have driven Celerio AMT and I feel very relaxed,no hassle of gear change,So if you want hassle free city drive go for Celerio AMT.but as you are 6ft I would say you will find Celerio little bit small than WagonR.WagonR has its own plus points like tallboy design with better seat comfort than celerio but you wont get AMT.So test drive both for your height.

The seller is asking for 1.7 Lakh. Should I buy this used car ? Please guide.

Answer : As the car is pretty old and the spare is also an issue. I recommend to leave the car and look for other new variants in the price segment. 2004 model is way to old to go now.

Answer : You can do the recovery by Creating A Windows 7 Repair Boot CD freely from anyone computer. Just go to Windows PC. Press Windows Button and type : recdisc then follow the prompts by selecting the optical drive with a blank CD and pressing the button.

Why My USB Pendrive is not detecting in Windows 7 Operating System

Question : I have one 8GB pendrive, when i insert it in my laptop its properly shows.  it is fully used but it is a new one from the first time it shows like that. 

If i try to paste some files in it, it says location can't found try again. 

Finally i found that windows 7 in my laptop can't access the disk. 

But it is working in other laptops. 

Please help me to solve this problem..

Answer : There might be so many reasons for not working of USB Pendrive in Windows 7 while working in other operating system.

You can do some tricks :

1. Click on start button and type this devmgmt.msc and press ENTER

2. Can you see your USB drive?

3. Right click on it-Select the file system-Format

4. See if you can use your USB Pendrive.

Also, may be the registry of the USB is corrupted, so enable / disable the pendrive once and see if it works. Updating the drivers may also solve the problem.

Answer : Yes, candidates can give the interview in whatever language they feel comfortable. The most important thing is the expression. You can't secure marks if you can't express the concept or your thoughts to the UPSC Interviewers.

UPSC does not want BPO person who speaks english very fluently. Person working in BPO only have the speaking quality but UPSC takes a candidate who can administrate the society.

In simple terms, when you go to rural villages, what you will do ? Will you speak in English with them ? Will you express your opinion in English ? they will hardly get any idea. Rather, when you speak hindi, they will judge you and listen you carefully.

India using WPI instead of CPI to calculate inflation - Daily Economic Market - Reasons for Inflation in Indian Market - How to Calculate Inflation using WPI

Question : Can you please tell me why India is using WPI instead of CPI Method for calculation of Inflation.

Answer : India use WPI (Whole Sale Price Index) Method for the calculation of inflation in Indian Economy. We used to neglect CPI Method. However, the reasons are mentioned below:

1) It's totally depends on the data available for WPI and CPI Method. Data on Wholesale Price Index (WPI) is available every week, while data on Consumer Price Index (CPI) is only available every month, so there is a time lag in CPI data availability compared to WPI data availability, which can impact decision making both for RBI and the Government of India, as the previous answer states.

2) In India, we do not have one CPI calculated per se. Earlier, there were 4 CPIs calculated for 4 different sets of workers, and now we have three such CPIs, out of which the most famous is CPI for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW). The others used currently are CPI for agricultural laborers and CPI for rural laborers.

The argument used therefore is that there is no one CPI value which can be used for decision making by either RBI or the Government of India.

3) According to our policy makers/decision makers at RBI and elsewhere, or so it seems, WPI has a broader coverage compared to all the CPIs, in terms of the commodities covered, quotations, larger number of non-agricultural products and tradeable items, which are missing in the CPIs.

Also, interest rates which the RBI controls may not have much of a correlation with high food prices and therefore decision makers may feel that since they can't target inflation across major sections constituting the CPI, they would rather focus on WPI constituted of goods on whose demand interest rates may have a more significant impact.

4) WPI is calculated on an all India basis, while CPI is calculated for specific centres in India and then this is aggregated to an all India index. 

So, these are some reasonable facts which affects the inflation in real time. India used WPI instead of CPI to calculate inflation.
